MGK Engineering is a small, boutique MEP and structural engineering firm serving architects, contractors, property owners, managers, and developers.
We provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, fire protection, and structural engineering across New York and New Jersey. Fire alarm design is a core strength, and MGK also handles forensic and inspection work. Massoud coordinates every project directly, with fast turnaround and no outsourcing abroad.
Massoud Katebeh, P.E., leads MGK, with over twenty years of experience in Italy, Abu Dhabi, and across the United States. He holds LEED AP certification, giving clients an advantage on projects seeking green building certification or compliance with energy-efficiency design requirements.

MGK Engineering also covers structural engineering for residential and small commercial buildings, including structural evaluations, wall removals, deck design, and load assessments. MGK also has extensive experience with historic buildings and an excellent track record of navigating regulations for historically designated buildings.
